Ashburn man escorts King casket
At the Martin Luther King center in Atlanta, pictures abound. Among those are pictures of his funeral escort, and in those pictures is man in his 40s, a man who will soon will be 86 and now calls Ashburn home.

Suspected drug distributor arrested
Approximately four pounds of suspected marijuana was seized after an investigation by the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force and the Crisp County Sheriff’s Department. Delmas Williams was arrested and charged with the sale and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and obstruction of officers.
