Cordele —
Crisp County High and State Farm Insurance are jointly observing youth night during their Friday soccer matches vs. Americus-Sumter High.
All children ages 14-and-under accompanied by a paying adult will be given admission to the competition that starts at 5:30 for boys and 7:30 for girls.
Free foam soccer balls will be given at the gate to all youngsters in attendance. Free hot dogs will be provided for them as well.
By making a visit to the special State Farm area set up near the gate, the names of children present will be placed in a jar for a drawing and a chance to win prizes during halftime activities.
One boy and one girl will win an official size soccer ball.
The names of four boys and four girls will be drawn at halftime of the respective matches for an unspecified prize.
