ALBANY — A quartet of Cordele runners took part in last weekend’s Snickers’ Energy Bar Marathon/Half Marathon and all of them placed reasonable well.
Competing in the 13.1-mile portion of the run, Bill Pack came in third among men 70-and-over with a time of 2:40.46.
Entered in the full 26-2-mile event, Stacey McGarr was 27th among women ages 35-39 at 4:40.26, Jim Pack was 32nd among men 40-44 at 3:51.32 and Mike Whitehurst was 47th among men 45-49 at 4:36.52.
