In their Region 2-A, Division A, clashes with Hawkinsville, the Bobcats recorded a 79-60 victory that kept them a game out of first place and the Lady Bobcats posted a 65-36 triumph that retained the top spot they now hold going into their Friday night regular season finales at Wilcox.
The Patriots and Lady Patriots of Wilcoxpicked up non-region wins oveer Bleckley County by scores of 74-66 (boys)and 64-48 while preparing for their final week of regular season play that finds them hosting sub-region foesSchley County on Tuesday and Dooly on Friday before entertaining non-region foe Fitzgerald on Saturday.
Crisp Countty, meanwhile,. broke even with Valdosta High when the Lady Cougars nipped the Lady Wildcats 61-59 and the Wildcatsclawed the Cougars 67-54. Crisp winds up its regular season with games Tuesday at Dougherty and Friday athome vs.Perry.
