East Point, Ga. —
Former Crisp County High quarterback Trevor Shealy who after his graduation last year signed a four-year football scholarship with Point University has been named to the first semester dean’s list at East Point college.
A three-year starter for the Cougars, Shealy threw for over 4,000 career yards and also played baseball and tennis before graduating with honors as a scholar athlete.
He is the son of Ken and Angie Shealy of Cordele.

Heeding the “where there’s a will, there’s a way” adage, Crisp Academy’ Wildcats struggled mightily Friday en route to a GISA Class A baseball quarterfinals sweep of Robert Toombs’ Crusaders.
