Cordele —
Dooly and Wilcox counties will be pulling double duty while Crisp County and Crisp and Fullington academies will play only once in basketball competition on tap this weekend.
The Bobcats (10-3 overall, 6-1 in Region 4-A play) and Lady Bobcats (3-10, 2-5) will be at Central of Talbotton on Friday at 6 before traveling to Hawkinsville on Saturday at 7.
The Patriots (14-3 in all starts, 8-1 in Region 2-A action) and Lady Patriots (3-11, 1-8) will visit Charlton County on Friday before coming home to host Telfair County on Saturday. Play begins both evenings at 6.
The Cougars (7-11 overall, 6-4 in Region 1-AAAA action) and Lady Cougars (10-6, 7-3) will make their only start of the weekend on Saturday at 6 in Albany against Monroe High.
Crisp Academy’s Wildcats (6-10 overall, 2-3 in Region 3-A GISA play) and Lady Wildcats (20-2, 5-0) are ticketed for duty Friday night only when they entertain Highland Christian of Valdosta.
Fullington Academy’s Trojans (7-7 in all games, 4-1 in Region 3-A GISA competition) and Lady Trojans (3-11, 1-4) also will take the court only on Friday when they play host to Randolph Southern.
