Cordele —
Watermelon Capital Speedway officials have released results of the program from this past Saturday night and details for the event it will host on June 16.
The upcoming program will be highlighted by the appearance of the Pro Challenge Series for three-quarter scale NASCAR Sprint Cup look-alike mounts.
Also competing on that evening’s card will be the outlaw late model, enduro, mini-stock, legends, bandolero and go-kart drivers.
All Boy and Girl Scouts wearing their Class A uniform will receive free grandstand admission. Gates open at 5 p.m., practice starts at 6:30 and competition gets under way at 7:30.
Last weekend’s top finishers and the order in which they crossed the finish line in the various categories were:
Super Street — Merle Diem, Americus; Josh Wise, Lake City; Cody Hale, Americus; Lance Spurling, Cordele, Walter Grimes, no home town listed.
