Softball, football on tapfor areahigh school teams

All five Crisp area schools will have both softball and football games on tap during the next 48 hours.

All of the diamond action takes place today starting at 4 p.m. when Wilcox visits Dooly County for a Region 2-A, Division A, tilt.

At 4:30, Crisp and Fullington academies launch the Region 3-A GISA portion of their schedules against each other in Byromville and at 5 o’clock, Crisp County hosts Perry in a Region 1-AAA clash.

On the gridiron, Crisp Academy’s junior varsity has a 7 p.m. battle this evening in Americus against Southland Academy’s Baby Raiders.

Friday’s all varsity card calls for 7:30 p.m. scraps that find Crisp County at Turner , Wilcox at Wilkinson and David Emanuel Academy at Fullington and an 8 p.m. duel that finds Northeast Macon at Dooly.
