Dear Editor,
Do you know of anyone living in the Cordele area who was once a Minor League baseball player or a batboy for the old Class D Cordele teams?
I am trying to identify these individuals so that I can invite them to the 9th annual Georgia-Florida-Alabama Minor Leagues reunion Aug. 21-22 in Moultrie.
I am also searching for old photos of Cordele's Minor League teams to display at this same reunion.
If anyone has any old photos or any memorabilia from the old Cordele teams, please write to me at the address below or e-mail at clint.chafin@mcleanengineering.us.
I would greatly appreciate any and all information.
