Funeral services for Joyce M. Kimbrough of Vienna will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in Vienna.
Interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday, Sept. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kimbrough, 75, passed away at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Born in Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Price Mixon and Pearl Fields Mixon.
She worked as an administrative assistant at Woodward Academy in College Park for many years. Mrs. Kimbrough was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and the wife of the late Charles Kimbrough.
Surviving her are a son, Kenneth Kimbrough (Brenda) of Cumming; a daughter, Elizabeth Coggins (Marion) of Stockbridge; a brother, Ed Mixon of Greer, SC and three grandchildren, Kristina Marie Bell, Alexander Kenneth Kimbrough and Megan Ashley Kimbrough.
