Brinson honored at BOE meeting

Cordele — Crisp Board of Education members heaped praises on retiring Superintendent Jay Brinson during their Tuesday night board meeting.

They also presented him with an engraved tray. His wife, Mary was on hand for his last meeting with the BOE.

Newly appointed Superintendent Dr. Rhonda Hayes also attended the meeting. Her first official day on the job was Wednesday.
