Watermelon Days Festival Committee members are anxious to bring Wally Melon home in time for the 60th anniversary celebration which begins this weekend. He has been missing for several weeks, and the Cordele Dispatch has been providing clues to the CODE that will bring him home. It will be necessary to have all 8 clues to win the prize for finding Wally first.
Clues 5 and 6 are printed below:
CLUE NO. 5 - Crisp County has a fine Farmers Market where many watermelons are bought and sold. The year in which the Farmers Market was first established is a number to be used as a clue for Wally's CODE.
CLUE NO. 6 - WMJM was Cordele's first radio station and was located on 20th Ave.E. The number of its frequency on the AM radio dial is another clue leading to Wally's CODE.
