CORDELE — Three homeowners, a business and a church have invited the public to visit them during the community’s annual Christmas Tour of Homes this coming Sunday, Dec. 7.
The headline of a story in this past Sunday’s paper indicated that the tour would be Saturday. That information is NOT correct. Everyone should note that the tour is Sunday, Dec. 7 as the first paragraph in that story and this one report.
Stops on the tour include the First United Methodist Church of Cordele, Cordele Dental Associates, and the homes of Donald and Leslie Cole, Christy Clary and William and Faye Sparrow.
Tickets for the Tour are on sale now at the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce, Cordele Main Street office, Cordele First United Methodist Church, National Realty, JW Designs, Flint River Pottery, Whimsical Violets, Two Sisters, and Georgia Design Center for $12 each.
A portion of the proceeds will go toward the angel tree program which provides Christmas gifts for children whose parents or guardians are not able to make those purchases.
The remainder will be used for Christmas street decorations in the city.
Ticket holders or persons who wish to purchase tickets are invited to attend a reception at the Georgia Design Center on 14th Ave. E. at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. There they will enjoy refreshments and have an opportunity to win door prizes.
Admission tickets to each of the five properties on the tour also will be distributed.
