UNADILLA — Firefighters from here and Dooly State Prison responded to a Tuesday morning cotton module fire on Third District Rd.
According to Kenny Mercer with Unadilla Fire & Rescue, the module caught fire in a module builder. The blaze was quickly extinguished, he said, with the module sustaining only minor damage.
Firefighters wet down the module building and cotton picker before leaving the scene about an hour after they arrived.
No one was injured in the incident, he said.
