Fundraiser planned

CORDELE — Tri-County Employer Committee is conducting a bake sale to raise funds to support community projects and help needy families during the holiday season.

Cake and pie orders should be placed by Dec. 1 by calling Lynn Hayslip at the Georgia Department of Labor, 229-276-2355. Customers should specify the kinds of cakes or pies they want. Some suggestions include chocolate, Red Velvet, coconut, key lime, German chocolate and carrot.

Baked goods will be available for pickup at the Department of Labor office, 1205 7th St. S. on Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cakes will sell for $25 each and pies for $15.
