Suspects arrested
CORDELE — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery earlier this week at CVS Pharmacy here.
Public Service Director Dwayne Orrick released information Wednesday that Travis Deonta Curtis and a juvenile were charged with armed robbery Tuesday.
Curtis, he said, is being held in the Crisp County Detention facility, and the juvenile has been transported to the Columbus RYDC.
Monday about 9:30 p.m., police were called to the pharmacy on 16th Ave. E., Orrick said. When they arrived, they were told that a black male had entered the business, walked up to the cashier, pointed what was described as a handgun at her and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
Orrick said the investigation is continuing.
