Crisp County Recreation Department staff have reported basketball scores for games since Thursday, Jan. 17.
On that day the 9-12 girls team, Sky defeated Storm 23-21. Scoring for Sky were Rachel Hopper, 15; Loren Seabolt, 6 and Carson Chambers, 2.
Zytecqua Johnson scored 16 of Storm’s points while Riley Blampied and Zymelia Johnson each added 2.
10 and under Celtics topped Heat 32-25. Kameron Williams led the Celtics with 11 points. Rodgreon Mason added 6; Ziquevion Harmon and Pilcher Thornton, 5 each and Fabion Bartell, 1. Joshua Robinson scored 17 of the Heat’s points, and Jalen Addie got 9.
In 12 and under action, the Pacers took a 45-41 win from Heat. Scoring for the Pacers were Jaquavion Walker, 30; Adrian Carter, 8; Chancelor Green, 3; Jamie Robinson, 2 and Marquavious Daniels, 1.
Heat got 13 points from Will Lanneau, 8 from Jartavious Mobley, 5 from John Woodall, 4 from Nick Lanneau and Jayren Fox, 3 from Tory Harvey and 2 from Ca’Mion Snead.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, the 8 and under Celtics played Thunder to a 8-8 tie. Scoring for the Celtics were Demaria Henderson, 6 and Peyton Bozeman, 2. Thunder also had two scorers as Mahki Simonson anad Khamari Soloman each scored 4 points.
10 and under Bulls played the 76ers to a close 30-26 win. Rodrick Jones scored 16 for the Bulls while Javair Deriso got 6; Jordan McCray, 3; Cedric Mobley and Teavon Hicks, 2 each and Antonio Johns, 1.
Kayshawn Johnson scored 16 for the 76ers; Francillion Coleman and Griffin Musselwhite each had 4 and J’Vion Williams tossed in 2.
12 and under Hawks took one from the Pacers 50-44. Jo Paul put 20 points on the board for the Hawks. Also scoring were Malik Hall, 12; Rodrick Chambliss anad TyQuavious McKenzie, 8 each and Ayrreun Smith, 2.
Pacers scorers were Jarquavion Walker, 15; Jamie Robinson, 8; Jarquavious Daniels, 6; Marquavious Daniels, 5 and Chancelor Green, 4.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22 Liberty girls team defeated Storm 14-8. Jelissa Reese led Liberty with 6; Jordan Lawson, E’Lacious Holt, Mia Murray and Treasure Whitehead each scored 2. Zytecqua Johnson scored 7 for Storm, and Riley Blampied added 1.
In 10 and under action, the 76ers beat the Celtics 21-13. For the 76ers, Francillion Coleman led with 9; Keyshawn Johnson had 8; Dylan Sheffield and J’Vion Williams, 2 each.
Kameron Williams led the Celtics with 4; Ziquavion Harmon, Pilcher Thornton and Jykese Mason scored 2.
In that same age group, Thunder defeated the Bulls 32-23. Jaylin Epps led Thunder with 11 points. Wade Wilson and Chris Paul had 6 while J’Kobe Harris and Johnathan Kuhn added 4 each.
Bulls Rodrick Jones scored 9 points; Jordan McCray, 6; Deterrian Johnson, 5; Ethan Pollock, 2 and Taevon Hicks, 1.
8 and under Warriors beat the Celtics 10-6 on Thursday, Jan. 24. Jack Carter got 4; Jayden Westbrook and Jay Gray, 2 each for the Warriors. Terrell Jones scored 4 anda Kenneth Alexander, 2 for the Celtics.
10 and under Thunder bettered Heat 34-24 with balanced scoring. Jaylin Epps had 9; J’Kobe Harris, 8; Ryland Reed anad Blake Simpson, 4 each; Cammelitess Clark and Chris Paul, 3 and Johnathan Kuhn, 2.
Heat got 16 points from Joshua Robinson; Jalen Addie scored 5 points and Bennett Margett, 3.
12 and under Knicks battled the Hawks to a 52-51 win. Jaden Woodson led with 21 points for the Knicks. Kevin Williams had 12; Kieshon Franklin, 2 and Ziquerious Cross, 1.
For the Hawks, Jo Paul had 26; Rodrick Chambliss, 13; Malik Hall and TyQuavious McKenzie, 4 each, Gaige Little, 3 and Ayrreun Smith, 1.
On Monday, Jan. 28, the 9-12 girls on Storm beat Sky 24-13. Zytecqua Johnson scored 12 for the winners; Zymelia Johnson added 6; Riley Blampied, 4 and Janaiah Whitehead, 2.
Sky got points from Rachel Hopper, 7; Loren Seabolt, 4 and Carson Chambers, 2.
12 and under Hawks and Pacers finished in a 52-52 tie. Scoring for the Hawks were Cooper Folds and Jaquavion Walker, 14 each; Chancelor Green, 9; Adrian Carter, 7; Jamie Robinson, 4; Michael Bryant, 3 and Jarquavious Daniels, 1.
Pacers got pionts from Rodrick Chambliss, 18; Jo Paul, 12; Noah Wilson, 8; Tyquavious McKenzie, 7; Malik Hall, 5 and Trey Williams, 2.
Knicks topped the Heat in that same age group 59-50. Leading the Knicks was Kevin Williams with 28 points. Xavier Heard added 13; Jaden Woodson, 8; Kieshon Franklin, 3; Devasco Dean, Ziquerious Cross and Kendall Wilson, 2 each.
Heat’s points were scored by Will Lanneau, 21; Jartavious Mobley, 13; Albert Bembry and John Woodall, 6 each; Tory Harvey, 5 and Jayren Fox, 2.
On Jan. 29, the 8 and under Warriors beat the Celtics 25-12. Jack Carter led the Warriors’ scoring with 15 points; Bravion Battle and Jayden Westbrook had 4 each and Jaylen Mason added 2.
Terrell Jones had 5 for the Celtics; Peyton Bozeman, 3; Chris Dawson and Mariek Thomas, 2 each.
10 and under Celtics took a 23-19 victory from Thunder. Celtics got scoring from Kameron Williams, 11; Pilcher Thornton, 6; Rodgreon Mason, 5 and Ziquevion Harmon, 1.
Thunder’s Jaylin Epps led with 8; Chris Paul had 5 and J’Kobe Harris, Cammelitess Clark and Blake Simpson, 2 each.
In the girls’ competition, Liberty beat Sky 28-22. Jelissa Reese led Liberty with 12; Treasure Whitehead had 8; Jordan Lawson, 6 and Mia Murray, 2.
For Sky, Rachel Hopper scored 12 points; Loren Seabolt, 8 and Carson Chambers, 2.
