Cordele —
In recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Cordele Dispatch would like to share the stories of survivors throughout our readership area.
If you are a childhood cancer survivor or a breast cancer survivor, we want to hear from you. Your stories will serve as inspiration for people who are currently battling cancer as well as many others who have been touched in some way by this disease.
We want to begin featuring childhood cancer survivors in the Sept. 1 paper, so we need to hear from you soon. We will publish a story about a survivor in each Thursday’s paper during the months of September and October, then breast cancer survivors will be featured in the October Tri-County Scene.
Anyone who is willing to share his or her story is invited to call Peggy, Becky or Chelsea at 273-2277 so we can arrange an interview.
Thank you so much for your interest and support.
