Police make trio of Thursday arrests

Cordele — City police officers reported a quiet Thursday, making three arrests none of which involved felony offenses.

In incidents not related to traffic violations, Linda Sue Thomas, 50, of Buena Vista, was charged with battery and a 16-year-old girl was cited for being an unruly juvenile.

Traffic tickets were issued to Eddie Lee Hawkins, 60, of 303 Fifth Ave. E., for driving with a suspended or revoked license, a seatbelt violation and for operating a vehicle with improper brake lights.
