Cordele —
An arrest has been made in connection with a robbery at Eastside Grocery Tuesday, Dec. 18.
Cordele Police Department reports that Taboriors Jones, 19, of a Blackshear Rd. address has been charged with armed robbery, criminal attempt and possession of a firearm or knife while committing or attempting to commit a crime.
Also during the week, a 29 year old local man faced multiple charges after Cordele officers initially stopped him for a traffic offense.
Carlthon Monson of Lilly Lane has been cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, driving with a suspended or revoked license, fleeing or attempting to elude, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, abandonment of dangerous drugs, poisons or a controlled substance and a probation violation.
Other arrests Wednesday and Thursday included:
• Brockey Brock, 24 of a Lakeview Circle address with shoplifting at Wal-Mart and criminal trespass.
• David Cobb, 25, of S. 8th Ave. with disorderly conduct.
• Otario Jackson, 29, of S. 8th St. with obstruction/hindering a law enforcement officer, a parole violation and simple battery.
• William Stauffer, 35, of W. 17th Ave. for speeding in excess of maximum limits and driving while unlicensed or having an expired license.
• Jacquetta Coney, 30, of E. 15th Ave. for driving with a suspended or revoked license, 2nd offense.
• Reginald McKever, 40, of an E. 24th Ave. address with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
• Chimere Lucas, 31, of W. 17th Ave. and Kristen Pountious, 20, of S. 11th St. on separate probation violations.
• Terry Craig, 22, of Oakland Ave. on a Ben Hill warrant for a probation violation.
