Cordele —
An assortment of arrests took place in the city on Wednesday, according to a Cordele Police Department press release submitted to news media members.
Darryl Daquan Taylor, 24, of 622 23rd Ave. E., was charged with theft by taking and Erica Lynn Odom, 30, of 613 N. Bay St., was cited for violation of the city’s leash law.
Mario Rashad McCray, 23, of 1111-F McClendon Court, was cited for disorderly conduct as were 14- and 15-year-old females who cannot be identified under Georgia juvenile laws.
Gerald Andre Smith, 42, of 410 Holsey Place, was booked for a driver’s license violation, no vehicle insurance, removing or affixing license plate with intent to conceal or misrepresent and no brake lights or working turn signal.
In other activity on Wednesday, officers received a theft report from 501 Seventh St. N. and a burglary complaint from 214 15th Ave. E. No information was provided as to what was taken in those crimes.
