Cordele — Current and prospective volunteers for United Hospice of Cordele are invited to “meet and greet” the organization’s new volunteer coordinator Monday, Feb. 4.

Trudy Hall and other Hospice personnel will be at the Cove at Lake Blackshear at 6 p.m. that day to educate the community about United Hospice’s services and recruit new volunteers.

There will be a question and answer session with Hospice employees of all disciplines and an open discussion about revising the current volunteer program.

Everyone will enjoy pizza and cold drinks. Door prizes will be awarded, and a silent auction to fund personal care gift baskets will be conducted.

Those who plan to attend should notify Hall no later than Monday, Jan. 28 at 271-0300.
