Cordele —
The Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce is making plans for its 64th annual meeting and dinner on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Officers and directors invite all members and other guests to attend the reception at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club at 6:15 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
Speaker for the occasion will be humorist Derek Sills, and special awards will be presented to the “exceedingly excellent” teacher of the year who has been nominated by someone in the community, and the Chamber’s volunteer and ambassador of the year.
Tickets are available now at $35 each or $350 for a table of 10. After Jan. 11, that cost will increase to $38 for individuals and $380 for a table of 10.
Business attire is appropriate for the evening, and reservations may be made by calling the Chamber office at 273-1668.
Sponsorships are available through Friday, Jan. 4, and donations may be made at three different levels. Platinum sponsors give $750 and receive recognition at the dinner, along with 10 tickets to the event.
For $500, Gold sponsors get recognition and 6 tickets. Silver sponsors donate $300 and receive recognition, as well as 2 tickets.
