Cordele — Crisp County Board of Education has announced one finalist in its search for a superintendent to replace Jay Brinson who is retiring at the end of June.
Dr. Rhonda Hayes, an assistant superintendent of the Dalton Public Schools in Dalton, is the only finalist that has been named.
By law, the BOE must wait at least 14 days to actually name the superintendent.
