Cordele — Crisp County Election Supervisor Brenda H. Turner reminds local residents that the deadline for voter registration and change of address for voting in the Presidential Preference Primary will be Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.

Anyone who is not a registered voter on Feb. 6 will be unable to vote in the primary on Tuesday, March 6.

The first day for early voting will be Monday, Feb. 13. Voters may cast their ballots in Rm. 103 of the Government Center during regular working hours every day through Friday, March 2.

Turner says her office also will be open for early voting on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Voters may go to the Secretary of State website for all information concerning the election. The website is www.sos.ga.gov/elections.

They can click on "My Voter Page" to find out their voting status, precinct for election day, and days and times for early voting.
