Offices of superintendents in Crisp, Dooly and Wilcox Counties have been contacted this morning about their response to the Governor's call for three-day teacher furloughs. No decisions have been announced in any county yet, however.

Administrators in Dooly County will be meeting at 2 p.m. today, and Dr. Grady Miles will be letting us know this afternoon what that county will do. Students there have been in class since July 17.
Wilcox County Superintendent Steve Smith said he was talking with the state school superintendent this morning in an effort to determine how best to handle the furloughs.
