BRINSON, Ga. (AP) — A 21-year-old crop-dusting student pilot from Oregon has been killed when his plane crashed in a field.
Authorities said Aaron Green was flying over a peanut field Tuesday afternoon when he crashed about a mile off Georgia 310 near the southwest Georgia town of Brinson.
The Troutdale, Ore., man was a student at the Ag-Flight training school in nearby Bainbridge.
Decatur County Sheriff's deputies did not know how or why the plane crashed. It is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Adnministration.
