Numerous community organizations have joined hands to present a “Back to School Rally/Super Saturday” event July 31 at the Dooly County Family Resource Center on 9th St. here.
Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the event will provide an opportunity for local agencies and organizations to market their programs and activities. School supplies will be given away, but all young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Sponsors of the event include the Dooly County Family Connection Collaborative in partnership with Bethel Community Enrichment, Southern Star (Middle Flint), St. Mark Baptist Church, Vienna Police Department, DJJ, Roger Kingdom Foundation, Franklin Lodge Eastern Star Chapter 88, Mentor Plus, A Stepping Stone to Excellence, and DCCEC youth leadership.
