CORDELE — A chance to win. A reason to give. Join the Red, White & Vroom! Sweepstakes today!
Voluntarily giving a blood donation is a great reward in itself, but the American Red Cross and Red Cross Racing are upping the ante by giving away a brand new car.
Thanks to a generous donation by the Ford Motor Company, the Red Cross is giving away a 2011 Ford Fiesta to one lucky winner. Since July 1, donors have been able to register online at redcrossracing.com for a chance to win.
Official rules are posted on the website, and the sweepstakes ends Nov. 1, 2010.
Every time a donor records his blood or platelet donations online, he’ll get points which can be exchanged for prizes. Red Cross Racing is an innovative program designed to encourage NASCAR fans to donate blood through the Red Cross.
Thanks to on-going support from 3M Company, the Red Cross has two full paint schemes on the Rousch Fenway No. 16 Ford Fusion this racing season.
Donors may now schedule blood donation appointments online at redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS. Blood drives are scheduled in Vienna and Warwick this Monday, July 26, and Crisp County has a drive every second Tuesday of the month.
