Vienna Woman's Club attends meet
Members of the Vienna Woman’s Club were among those present at the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs Third District meeting hosted in Cochran. GaFWC President Elect, Shari Carter brought greetings to those in attendance.
District President, Libby Bond of Reynolds, chaired the meeting. Members learned about emergency preparedness from the staff of the West Central Health District and heard an update on Tallulah Falls School from school president Larry Peevy.
Club reports were given as well as department reports and legislative actions. The Vienna Club was awarded the attendance gavel for having the highest percentage of members present traveling the most miles. Representing the Vienna Club were Casey McClain, Kay Chadwick, Cathy Jones and Beth English.
