CORDELE — Queen Ester Nelson of Cordele passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of the New Hope Baptist Church in Warwick with the burial to follow in the Red Oak Cemetery in Doles.

J.W. Williams Funeral Home Directors of Cordele and Vienna will be in charge of the arrangements.

  • Miriam Naomi Hamilton

    Funeral services for Miriam Ivey Hamilton of Cordele will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Pinecrest Baptist Church, Cordele. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery.
    Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jack Jr. and Dawn Hamilton of Cordele;  daughters and son-in-laws Jean and Mickey Rogers of Arabi;  Joy and Emory Edwards of Cordele;  granddaughters, Julie Rogers, Jamey Rogers, Jenna (Blake) Hobbs,  Courtney Hamilton, Carley Hamilton, and Miriam Edwards; grandsons, Heath Hamilton and William Edwards;  great-grandchild, Mickensey Leigh Hobbs.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jack P. Hamilton. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m.
