ABBEVILLE — Ralph Warren, 87 of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the Taylor Regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.
Reverend David Clark will officiate, and interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 in the funeral home.
Mr. Warren was born in 1923 in Cadwell. He was son of the late Eli Warren and Leila Mae Gibbs Warren. He was the retired owner of the Warren’s Phillips 66 Service Station in Abbeville.
He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Warren served his country with honor in the United States Air Force during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era.
Surviving him are his wife, Virginia Warren of Abbeville; sons, James “Rusty” (Vera) Warren of Abbeville, Henry Warren of Abbeville, Ralph L. “Cutter” (Patsy) Warren of Abbeville, Billy F. Warren of Abbeville, and Mark Warren of Abbeville; brothers, John P. (Myrtle) Warren of Rochelle, and Jack (Betty) Lane of Abbeville; 16-grandchildren and 19-great-grandchildren.
