Well last week was a good week and Ms. Coach was on the mark. She he hit on 19 out of 22 picks to move her yearly average up. The record now stands at 69-23 (.750) for the year and a lot of football left to go.
This week we have three high school games and Ms. Coach says that they will be good ones. First up will be Telfair @ Wilcox and Ms. Coach thinks that the Patriots will be in for a battle but in the end they will get a 4-point win. The Fullington Trojans travel down to Georgia Christian and that should be a very good game, look for the Trojans to come away with the W. The Crisp County Cougars will host the Brooks County Trojans for a homecoming spectacular. Both teams will check in undefeated and both teams play a similar game of hard nose defense and scoring. This will by far be Crisp biggest challenge to date against a very solid football team. Homecoming distractions aside look for the Cougars to pull out a close win at Cougar den, best guess is 24-21.
On the collegiate side of things Ms. Coach feels strongly that Houston, Florida St, Arkansas, Florida, Ohio State, Auburn, Texas, BYU, Baylor and Nebraska will all get a win. Much to the disdain of Georgia Tech fans look for the Miami Hurricanes and Mark Richt to continue his dominance of the Yellow Jackets. In the biggest game of the day the 2nd best team in the country Louisville loses in a shocker at Death Valley in Clemson (Oct 29th Clemson loses in Tallahassee). The Michigan vs. Wisconsin game promises to be a whale of a contest look for the Wolverines to pull a small win out in the big house. In other action Oklahoma will bounce back and get a W against TCU and Ole Miss should handle Memphis. Alabama and Notre Dame should get wins on Saturday. Last but not least Stanford travels to Washington to take on the Huskies. Washington is undefeated but they have not come close to playing a team as good as Stanford and Christian McCaffrey. The Huskies beat a decent Arizona team by a touchdown but the Cardinals are a contender, Stanford wins. The Volunteers are coming off a huge win over Florida and Georgia is reeling from it’s beat down in Oxford and the loss of Nick Chubb to a sprained ankle. Georgia will rebound to show they are men but as much as it hurts me Tennessee wins 27-25.
